Stepping Out offers a comprehensive service to adults (18+) within their own homes, providing an environment as near as possible to independent living, whilst benefiting from the availability of support and specialist facilities. Primarily catering for people with mental health issues and/or challenging behaviour, support is provided within their home to develop personal, social and domestic skills. This well established arrangement has proven to be the most successful as it fully promotes, encourages and achieves a feeling of privacy, dignity and independence. Support packages are tailored to suit individual needs, as agreed between the placing authority and ourselves and are regularly monitored in conjunction with the individual support plan. |

Stepping Out provides a Domiciliary Care service to a whole range of service users within the community. The service provides support to individuals within their own homes, both on a practical and personal care level, which enables them to maintain their own independence and lifestyle. The service may vary from a very small amount of support weekly e.g. provision of shopping support weekly to large and detailed packages of care providing several visits per day, this of course depends on the individual needs of the service user. We also offer Respite services to individuals to give Carers peace of mind and time for a break from their Caring duties.Hours of Operation Availability of times may vary according to area in which service user lives and current availability of time slots. We offer services to: People with mental heath problems, People with dementia, People with physical disability. Older people (over 65s), People with learning disability, People with a drug or alcohol problems, and people with terminal illness What this service includes |

Stepping Out provides a very specialist service within smaller homes, which are designed to make the resident feel part of a family. Although not a CSCI registered service but under the registered managers, this service cares for adults with autism, mental health issues, learning difficulties, the vulnerable and people with challenging behaviour and or multiple diagnosis. Each home provides accommodation to the latest standards/regulations and benefits from all modern facilities, including nurse call systems. The properties are always located in positions close to transport links and local amenities. This enables a full range of activities to be offered within and away from the home. All our residents are given the opportunity and encouraged to engage in a wide range of social activities/hobbies etc, and so all our homes have disabled access and wheelchair accessible rooms and communal areas. Care packages are tailored to suit individual needs, as agreed between the placing authority and ourselves and are regularly monitored in conjunction with the Individual Care /Support Plan. |

Our Care Service can be accessed via social workers or on a private basis. The service user's needs and requirements will be discussed and a plan of care will be developed which includes details of our visit time to the service user and what tasks will be carried out |
during our visits. During this visit to discuss the service user's needs, we also carry out risk assessments to ensure the health and safety of service users and staff. We will review the care package initially at six weeks, or more frequently if needed, to ensure we are meeting the needs of the service user as per the plan of care. |

The company has put into place various systems to help to set and achieve goals and targets, monitor, assess and review performance and act on findings to continually improve business quality and performance in the best interest of its service users. The company will ensure that staff supervision and appraisals are carried out in line with CSCI regulations and training targets are achieved and monitored for all staff. |
Complaints procedures are in place to ensure continued quality management. All complaints are logged and actioned and the information shared with staff, customers and regulators of the service. |
