Stepping Out Can Support Young People Leaving Care

Stepping Out specialise in supporting children leaving care. Our semi independent living projects provide the perfect base to build upon when aiming for full independence.

We understand that children leaving care need support in their daily lives, in order to develop their life skills. After all, becoming fully independent is no easy feat.

Staffed by experienced, qualified professionals, our projects are designed to house a maximum of 5 service users. This is to capture the safe, homely setting that teenagers & children leaving care are in need of. Large hostels housing up to 100 young people will never feel like home, and will never offer the young person the support they need to develop. Therefore, Stepping Out takes a different, more unique approach.

On-site staff and provide unlimited support to service users within the project. This includes;

  • Life Skills Development
  • Goal Setting & Regular Meetings
  • Counselling
  • Community Access & Support
