Dementia Cases Look to Rise by One Third

A major awareness campaign is being launched by the government to spot the early signs and symptoms of dementia.

This week, the Department of Health revealed worrying fears that many relatives of dementia sufferers were not recognising the early signs of dementia and putting down memory related problems to a sufferer’s age.

Whilst there is not a possible cure for dementia, early diagnosis can help to ensure that patients have access to the vital support that is needed.
